Cela conf\u00e8re au mat\u00e9riau PCTFE des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s uniques. Les pi\u00e8ces en PCTFE sont tr\u00e8s stables dans le temps et dans des environnements exigeants.<\/p>\n<p>En raison de sa composition chimique, les cha\u00eenes polym\u00e8res du PCTFE ont moins de flexibilit\u00e9, une temp\u00e9rature de transition vitreuse plus \u00e9lev\u00e9e que le PTFE. Le PCTFE pr\u00e9sente une excellente r\u00e9sistance chimique, mais plus \u00e9troite que le PTFE, car les liaisons carbone-chlore sont plus faibles que celles carbone-fluor.<\/p>\n<p>Sa structure chimique offre un atout particulier, unique parmi les fluoropolym\u00e8res. Le PCTFE offre les meilleures performances dans les barri\u00e8res \u00e0 gaz. Les pi\u00e8ces en PCTFE offrent en particulier les meilleures performances pour limiter la perm\u00e9ation de l&rsquo;humidit\u00e9 et de la vapeur. Il peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 dans des conditions cryog\u00e9niques, jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 -255\u00b0C. \u00c0 une telle temp\u00e9rature, les pi\u00e8ces en PCTFE ne pr\u00e9sentent aucune fragilit\u00e9 contrairement \u00e0 la plupart des polym\u00e8res hautes performances ou techniques.<\/p>\n<p>Le PCTFE n&rsquo;est pas limit\u00e9 aux basses temp\u00e9ratures. Le PCTFE pr\u00e9sente cependant un point de fusion inf\u00e9rieur au PTFE, \u00e0 214\u00b0. La temp\u00e9rature de service continu recommand\u00e9e atteint 150\u00b0C, m\u00eame si le PCTFE est bien plus performant \u00e0 tr\u00e8s basse temp\u00e9rature.
