ancien et le plus courant des fluoropolym\u00e8res, ces polym\u00e8res avec de fortes liaisons carbone-fluor (CF).\u00a0Ces liaisons CF, en lieu et place des liaisons carbone-hydrog\u00e8ne (CH) qui forment les plastiques les plus courants, sont au c\u0153ur de ses performances.\u00a0Ils offrent l&rsquo;une des structures les plus stables au PTFE.<\/p>\n<p>Avec l&rsquo;apparition du PTFE a commenc\u00e9 l&rsquo;utilisation de plastiques \u00e0 hautes performances, avec des caract\u00e9ristiques que la plupart des mat\u00e9riaux, et en particulier les thermoplastiques techniques, ne peuvent pas atteindre.\u00a0Les performances les plus connues qui distinguent le PTFE sont les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de faible friction et la r\u00e9sistance aux temp\u00e9ratures \u00e9lev\u00e9es. Il faut donc soigneusement choisir la ou les charges et leur quantit\u00e9 pour aboutir au bon mat\u00e9riau pour une application donn\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Lorsque les pi\u00e8ces doivent conserver un certain degr\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00e9lasticit\u00e9, le compound utilis\u00e9 sera g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement faible en charge.
